Regardless of which coverage level you select, in addition to the covered parts for that coverage level, you will also be eligible to receive reimbursement for these additional benefits.

Platinum Protection
Any part that experiences a Breakdown during the Contract Term, except for any parts specifically excluded throughout this Contract and/or listed in the Exclusions section of this Contract. Coverage provides payment/reimbursement for Costs authorized by Us to repair or replace parts/components that experience a Breakdown, less Your Deductible amount, in accordance with all terms and conditions of this Contract. If Your Vehicle is a HYBRID/EV, the Platinum Coverage Level will include the repair/replacement of Your Vehicle’s HYBRID/EV Battery during the Contract Term. In order to qualify for HYBRID/EV Battery repair/replacement, the failure must be caused by HYBRID/EV Battery Breakdown. Replacement may be made with a HYBRID/EV Battery of like, kind, and quality (LKQ) with an energy capacity (kWh storage) level at or above that of the original HYBRID/EV Battery, prior to the HYBRID/EV Battery Breakdown. The amount of energy a HYBRID/EV Battery can store will decrease over time and miles driven. An inspection or extended charge capacity test may be needed, prior to replacement, to determine if the HYBRID/EV Battery energy capacity (kWh storage) is within the proper limits, given the age and mileage of the Vehicle. The extended charge capacity test will follow manufacturer specifications and will be covered, if it is determined that a HYBRID/EV Battery Breakdown has occurred. However, You will be responsible for charges associated with the extended charge capacity test, if the issue is not covered under this Contract, as defined herein. You will be solely responsible for any Costs that are NOT covered by the terms and conditions of this Contract or for any expenses You incur that exceed the maximum limits stated herein.
Gold Protection
Includes all items from Bronze & Silver Coverages, plus the following:
ENGINE COOLING: Radiator, coolant recovery tank, fan clutch, fan motor and blades, fan shroud, heater core, low coolant sensor, heater control valve, thermostat, temperature sensor and relay, and fasteners for the above listed components. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service.
FRONT/REAR SUSPENSION: Upper and lower control arms/bushings, bump stop cushions, control arm shafts, steering knuckle/spindle, wheel bearings and seals, stabilizer shaft, stabilizer linkage including mounts, upper and lower ball joints, radius arm and bushings, torsion bars and mounts/bushings, struts, strut bearing plates, shock absorbers, spindle and spindle support, switch king pins, and fasteners for the above listed components. Plus, the following variable dampening suspension parts: compressor, control module, actuator, solenoid, height sensor, mode selector. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service. Front Wheel Alignment will be included, where required to complete Covered Services.
BRAKES: Master cylinder, assist booster, wheel cylinders, combination valve, front and rear brake calipers/actuators, rubber brake hoses and fittings, backing plates, springs and clips, retainers and self–adjusters, parking brake linkage and cables, and fasteners for the above listed components. Plus, the following ABS Components: hydraulic control unit, electronic control processor, wheel speed sensors, hydraulic pump/motor assembly, pressure modulator valve, isolation dump valve, and accumulator. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service.
ADVANCED ELECTRICAL: On–board computer system including: all relays, sensors, ECU & ECM (electric control units/electric control modules) driver information displays, controller/electronic throttle control system, A/C charger, battery cooling system (including blower motor controller, blower assembly and ducts), HYBRID/EV pumps and radiators/coolant storage bottle/coolant valve/condenser, and seals and gaskets (when replaced in conjunction with a Covered Service) for the above listed components.
Silver Protection
Includes all items from Bronze Coverage, plus the following:
ELECTRICAL: Instrument cluster including: speedometer, odometer, tachometer and all gauges, warning lights, factory burglary alarm, electronic entry systems including remote entry receiver, sunroof motor, power antenna motor, headlight motors, power trunk release motor, power seat motor, power window motors, regulators, and switch, power sliding door motor and switch, power door lock actuators and switch, power mirror motor, window defrosters (front and rear), wiper motor, windshield washer pump, relay, and switch, distributor, heater – A/C blower motor, convertible top motor, brake light switch, backup light switch, neutral safety switch, cigarette lighter, clock, horn, alternator, voltage regulator, starter, engine block heater, electronic fuel injectors, throttle position sensor, oxygen sensor, crankshaft position sensor, camshaft position sensor, fuel pressure sensor, electronic ignition module, ignition coils, electronic level control compressor (including its sensor and limiter valve), 4WD encoder motor, and the following manually operated switches: seat adjuster switch, headlight switch, turn signal switch, wiper switch, and ignition switch. Coverage also includes the following factory installed devices: GPS/Navigation system, night vision system, cruise control servo, and proximity pass key/sensor. COVERAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE CLEANING/ADJUSTING, PROGRAMMING, OR SOFTWARE UPDATES.
AIR CONDITIONING: Compressor (electric) and mounting brackets, clutch and pulley, evaporator (A/C coil), condenser, orifice tube, serpentine belt tensioner, POA valve, expansion valve, accumulator, temperature control programmer, high/low pressure cutoff switches, high/low pressure hoses, pressure cycling switch, drier, temperature control head, o–rings, heated/cooled seats, freon refrigerant (if necessary) in conjunction with a Covered Service, and fasteners for the above listed components. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service.
STEERING: Housing/case/cylinder and all Internally Lubricated Parts including: rack and pinion valve assembly, sector shaft, rack mounts and cushions, inner/outer tie rod ends, speed sensor, steering gear assembly, pitman arm, all shafts/couplings, sealing rings, bearings, center link, idler arm, electric and power steering pump and pulley, fluid reservoir, power steering lines, and fasteners for the above listed components. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service. THIS COVERAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE REAR WHEEL STEERING COMPONENTS.
HYBRID/EV: Electric drive motor assembly, generator assembly, power inverter and converter, stator and rotor, and transaxle.
ENGINE: Gasoline Engine – Cylinder block, and all Internally Lubricated Parts including, but not limited to: crankshaft, rod and main bearings, cam bearings, expansion plugs, connecting rods, wrist pins, pistons, piston rings, camshaft and bearings, followers, cam tower, lifters, cylinder head, valves and guides, valve seats, valve springs and retainers, rocker arms, push–rods, timing chain housing, timing chain and sprockets, balance shafts, oil pump and pressure relief valve, oil pump pick up and drive, and fasteners for the above listed components. Additional components: motor mounts, intake manifold, flywheel/flex plate, harmonic balancer and retaining bolt, crankshaft pulley, valve covers, oil pan, engine oil sending unit, water pump, temperature sending unit, fuel pump, vacuum pump, dipstick and dipstick tube, fuel filler neck, filler neck hose, and fasteners for the above listed components. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service. Diesel/Supercharged Diesel Engine – The applicable parts listed above, plus the turbocharger, waste gate controller, intercooler, compressor, clutch and pulley, fuel supply pump, fuel and coolant lines, and fuel nozzles. Turbocharged/Supercharged Engine – The applicable parts listed above, plus the turbocharger, supercharger, housing, waste gate controller, intercooler, compressor, pulley, fuel supply pump, fuel and coolant lines, and fuel nozzles.
BRONZE PROTECTION
TRANSMISSION: AUTOMATIC – Transmission case and all Internally Lubricated Parts including: oil pump, valve body, torque converter, main shaft, transmission mounts, transmission cooler, governor, clutches, bands, drums, gear sets, chain and sprockets, bearings, bushings, sealing rings, solenoids, electronic shift control unit, cooler, hard lines, vacuum modulator, dipstick and tube, and fasteners for the above listed components. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service.
TRANSMISSION: STANDARD – Transmission case and all Internally Lubricated Parts including: main shaft, gear sets, shift forks, synchronizers, sprockets, bearings, bushings, transmission mounts, and fasteners for the above listed components. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service.
FRONT WHEEL DRIVE: Drive axle housing and all Internally Lubricated Parts including: carrier case, gear sets, bearings, axles, constant velocity joints, front hub bearings, drive shaft support, and fasteners for the above listed components. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service.
REAR WHEEL DRIVE: Drive axle housing and all Internally Lubricated Parts including: carrier case, gear sets, bearings, bushings, limited slip clutch pack, rear hub bearings, propeller shafts, axles, constant velocity joints, universal joints, drive shaft support, and fasteners for the above listed components. Seals, gaskets, and fluids will be covered only in conjunction with a Covered Service.
FOUR WHEEL DRIVE: The applicable parts listed above, plus the additional parts for the four wheel drive components including: all Internally Lubricated Parts, locking hub assembly (4 X 4), transfer case, and chain and sprockets.
SEALS & GASKETS: Your Vehicle will be covered for a Breakdown that is the direct result of a failed seal or gasket, in accordance with all terms and conditions herein, if Your Vehicle has 125,000 miles or less at the time of purchase. Qualified vehicles will be covered for seal and gasket failure, for the Term of this Contract. If Your Vehicle has more than 125,000 miles at the time of purchase, seals and gaskets are ONLY covered in conjunction with a Covered Service and cannot be the direct cause of the Breakdown.
